Aircraft Parts Manufacturing

Aircraft Parts Manufacturing Companies

Aircraft parts manufacturing companies play a critical role in the aerospace industry by supplying precise, intricate, and important mechanical pieces to businesses who construct aircrafts and space vehicles worldwide. While many of these manufacturing companies focus on specific aircraft parts, others may supply all forms of mechanical parts ranging from aircraft seating, fuselage panels, engines, landing gear, to technology that supports space flight for commercial and defense applications.

Here at Fibrotek Advanced Materials, we take pride in offering clients a diverse selection of aerospace composite parts for exterior and interior use. Unlike other aircraft parts manufacturing companies, Fibrotek Advanced Materials oversees the initial design and engineering stages through to the manufacturing and delivery of your businesses customized products. With over 20 years serving clients globally in the aero.

What Makes Us Different: Composite Materials

Recognizing the imperative need for aircraft parts that increased fuel efficiency while decreasing weight, Fibrotek Advanced Materials is committed to manufacturing superior quality parts from composite materials by utilizing autoclave, prepeg materials, or wet materials.

Composite materials are desirable for aerodynamics and aerospace due to their extraordinary ratios between strength, stiffness, and density, along with their preferred dynamic attributes. Generally speaking, composite material consists of solid and rigid fibers in an unbreakable resin matrix. Many types of reinforcing materials are available for use in airplanes, and Fibrotek Advanced Materials is well prepared and equipped to custom aerospace mechanical parts according to your needs and specifications.

Composite Materials We Use

At Fibrotek Advanced Materials, we manufacture aircraft parts from several composite materials, including:

  • Carbon fiber
  • Kevlar
  • Fiberglass
  • Graphite
  • Tooling boards
  • Epoxy and other synthetic thermoset resin and polymers
  • Composite sandwich laminate
  • Aluminum
  • Steel
  • Wood
  • Plaster

The Advantages of Composite Tooling

There are copious advantages to using composite materials for manufacturing aircraft parts, including:

  • Simplicity in the construction of elaborate devices, including shapes and designs.
  • The enhanced threshold to notable damage
  • Thermal constancy when bare to incite temperature regulating
  • Avoidance of corrosion problems
  • Expanded resistance to high impact collisions

Our technicians, engineers, and manual installers are highly qualified in the performance and protection of producing custom and OEM parts for numerous aeronautics and aerospace practices. With the capabilities of our facilities including 3-, 4-, 5- axis machining, autoclaving, 3D printing, assembly, and prototype modeling, Fibrotek Advanced Materials is able to proficiently create aircraft parts for your specific needs, regardless of the type of aircraft part you require.

The Fibrotek Advanced Materials internal 10 x 20 composite autoclave is a potent container that produces composites demanding high pressure and temperature levels. Through our production facility, we can quickly and efficiently deliver aerospace parts and segments that are designed and need elaborate geometry and shapes. Furthermore, our resin systems include

  • Epoxy
  • Polyester
  • Phenol

Quality Management at Fibrotek Advanced Materials

At Fibrotek Advanced Materials, we take the quality of our production and customized parts seriously, which is why over the last 20 years, we’ve implemented a stringent quality management system that aids in guaranteeing our assembly exceeds industry standards. Our Aerospace Quality Management System is ISO9001: 2020/AS9100D certified, and we take pride in implementing inspections throughout the product life cycle to ensure precision at all times.

Superior Inspection Principles

At Fibrotek Advanced Materials, we are committed to utilizing and promoting an assorted selection of measurement clarifications at all stages of our product life cycles. We innovatively use complex scientific software, including the HandyScan 3D, a portable measurement 3D scanner. This powerful handheld 3D scanner immediately displays accurate, high-resolution 3D scans with complex surfaces under all weather conditions. It also reaches a sharpness up to 0.030 mm (0.0012 in.) with a supreme resolution of 0.050 mm (0.0020 in.).

This scientific scanner also has a top procurement rate of 480,000 measurements/s. When this scanner is employed in unification with our post-treatment software, the data from the 3D scans can be secured and transported as a simple 3D file for review, 3D printing, and CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.). Fibrotek Advanced Materials is also pleased to offer our clients extensive 3D scanning resources despite the dimensions of your customized aerospace parts, the complexity of the design, the materials we use, or the surface, thanks to our innovative production scanner.

Furthermore, at Fibrotek Advanced Materials, our rigorous quality management system ensures excellence. Here is just some of the procedures our company is dedicated to following with each partnership we foster, regardless of how big or small the job may be.

  • Fibrotek Advanced Materials utilizes custom inspection levels dependent on the product or part in production
  • Our team employs source inspections and document tracing for ease of reference
  • We administer specialized project management
  • We provide do not outsource any third-party assistance to save our clients money and to guarantee the level of service upholds the Fibrotek Advanced Materials standards at all times.
