Fibrotek offers a range of metrology solutions at all stages of product lifecycle management with the use of HandyScan 3D, a portable metrology-grade 3D scanner. Whether its quality control, tooling validation, inspection of parts, or reverse engineering; this ultra-fast handheld 3D scanner is capable of quickly delivering accurate and high-resolution 3D scans with complex surfaces and under any environmental condition. It offers accuracy up to 0.030 mm (0.0012 in.) and a maximum resolution of 0.050 mm (0.0020 in.). Its top acquisition rate is 480,000 measurements\/s.<\/p>

Used in conjunction with a post-treatment software, the 3D scan data can be finalized and exported as a readable 3D file for inspection, 3D printing, and CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.).<\/p>
